Find me a good piece of brittle and we'll be BFFs. I swear I'm that easy to win over. I am gaga over nuts swimming in a pool of chewy crunchy sugar. It's like crack to me. Which is why I don't eat it too often, or else my fingers would be perpetually sticky and I might not fit into my pants so well.
When I got this brittle in my Foodzie tasting box I was absolutely ecstatic. This brittle by Morning Glory Confections is right up my alley. Sweet and salty=Adrienne very happy. I really can't stand overly sweet desserts, so a touch of salt is usually enough to prevent this.
Morning Glory Confections was started in 2006 by grad student Max Lesser. Max wanted to create brittle that combined old fashioned small batch processing with new innovative ingredients. Try Chai tea and cashew, cocoa nib coffee bean and pecan and curry and pistachio. I mean seriously?! Next pay check, this might be coming in the mail.
Good thing this brittle came in such a small package because if given the chance I would have eaten a vat of this stuff.
So what have we learned? I love brittle. This brittle is fantastic. You want to be my friend. So I should be expecting a package from you all soon packed with this brittle :D
