If you haven't noticed already I love to use nuts when I cook. There was almond bars, cashew bars, quinoa with almonds, pistachio cupcakes, walnut cookies...the list goes on and on!
And what's not to love? Nuts are the perfect snack with a nice amount of protein, good for you fats and no hard to pronounce ingredients. I try and eat them every morning for breakfast and am pretty much addicted to these from Trader Joe's (I totally agree. These almonds do have crack in them).
But now I have another type of nuts, specifically almonds to add to my obsession list. Mrs. Sipps is a small company based in Illinois run by friends Helen and Christopher. According to the website, the pair brought their spiced almonds to gatherings where they were met with rave reviews. They started producing their mix for sale and thank god they did.
These nuts are hands down delicious. They only have a few ingredients (almonds, sugar, sesame seeds and spices). They have that irresistible combination of sweet and spicy. When you first try them you're first introduced to the sweet. After you swallow, the spicy creeps up in the back of your throat like an ax murderer in a horror movie, only not so, er, creepy.
The only bad thing about these nuts is I only have a sample! I mean look at the bag its teeny!! I might have to splurge and get me a bigger bag.
