Tid Bits: Falafel Chips
chips. Now I'm questioning my once harmonious relationship with sweets. Perhaps its time for an 'It's Complicated' Facebook status change.
These chips are inhale the whole bag without taking a breath good. I am in love with falafel, so its no real surprise these chips floated my boat, tripped my trigger **insert favorite colloquialism here**
tzatziki dressing, crushed up as a coating for baked chicken (or tofu, why not?), dipped into anything and everything delicious (fromage blanc, guacamole, black bean dip, baba ganoush and for the adventurous goat cheese and honey dip.
A word of caution to all you who pound a bag of chips because you love salt...these chips might not be for you. I think one of the reasons I love these chips so much is they are virtually salt free (only 79 mg). I am really really salt sensitive, so a bag of Lays has running to the facet like Speedy Gonzalez. These chips are flavored with other seasonings including tumeric, so I hardly notice the lack of salt. Instead these chips grace the tongue with a savory, bean-y crunch.
Rudy gave him his seal of approval as well :D
